Hello and welcome to my personal blog. My name is Georgii Pozdniakov and I am an IT systems engineer at OLLY Information Technologies located in Saint-Petersburg, Russian Federation.

First of all, I want to note that English is not my native language and I hope you  will excuse my mistakes in any post published here. However, I will try to keep this blog updated and correct any linguistic, as well as technical mistakes. If you will find any, just let me know and I fix it.

Few words about my work experience and duties: as an IT engineer I am responsible to maintain our internal IT infrastructure and to keep it on the cutting edge. Mostly I am working with Microsoft products such as AD, Exchange, SharePoint, Dynamics 365 and other related products and technologies. In addition, I am maintaining our internal VDI, based on Citrix XenDesktop, and our backup system, based on Veritas BackupExec. Finally, on a day-to-day basis I manage our virtualization solution based on VMWare vSphere, Cisco UCS, IBM BladeCenter and a couple of data storages (IBM and Fujitsu).

As you may notice, there are a lot of products I am working with. Sometimes there are some thoughts I would like to share. I hope that you will find something useful here and it will somehow help you to resolve the difficulties you may run into. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact me.
